23/09/26 Allaphujuha After exploring the riverine beauty of South Kerala, our journey brought us to Alappuzha (Alleppey), a destination internationally renowned for its picturesque backwaters and luxurious houseboat experiences.
Known as one of Kerala’s most celebrated backwater destinations, Alappuzha offers travellers an opportunity to experience the tranquil side of Kerala from the water. As part of our Kerala Tourism experience, we boarded a luxury houseboat arranged through the Kerala Travel Mart Society.
The houseboat itself was an experience in luxury. Designed on two levels, it featured air-conditioned rooms, comfortable luxury accommodation, a well-equipped kitchen and elegant indoor and outdoor spaces. The spacious design and hospitality facilities make such houseboats particularly attractive for travellers who wish to spend an entire night surrounded by Kerala’s serene waterways.
